Who can become an affiliate?
Anyone can join — industry consultants, trade associations, bookkeepers, accountants, marketing agencies, or even other contractors who want to refer colleagues.
How does tracking work?
When someone visits QuoteShield through your referral link (e.g. quoteshield.com.au?ref=AFF-XXXXXX), a cookie is stored in their browser for 30 days. If they register and subscribe within that window, the referral is automatically linked to your account.
When do I get paid?
Commissions have a 30-day holdback period after each subscription payment. Once cleared, they appear as "available" in your dashboard. You can request a payout anytime your available balance meets the minimum threshold ($35).
How are payouts processed?
Payouts are sent via Stripe Connect directly to your bank account. You will need to complete Stripe onboarding (identity verification and bank details) before requesting your first payout.
What if a referred contractor cancels?
You only earn commission on payments that are actually collected. If a contractor cancels, you stop earning on future payments but keep commissions already cleared from the holdback period.
Is there a limit on referrals?
No limit. Refer as many trade businesses as you like. Each referral earns its own independent 6-month commission window.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals are detected and will not be credited. The affiliate program is designed for referring other businesses.
